I’M KAYLA,

Founder and Principle Interior Designer of Burns Haus of Design. I've always been a follow-your-heart kind of gal. When I decided to pursue interior design, I was unsure where the journey would take me. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, my wide-ranging experience spans from essential positions at top interior firms to extensive renovations up to 25,000 sq. ft. and custom new build construction. Here I am a few years later, transforming lives by transforming homes. I live in Pleasanton, a small, rural town, with my sweet husband, daughter, and weenie dog. I enjoy slower living, good music, and the company of friends that feel like family. My work is personal. While it's a curated collection of materials, textures, colors, and overall good vibes - you will find bits and pieces of my heart as well.
